REV Service overview

Rev Translation focuses on multimedia translation services. This includes transcription, subtitling, and video and film captioning and subtitling. We took the time to read rev.com reviews, and we also placed an order for translation services. The Rev reviews we observed were mixed in nature. Some were very positive, others were more critical.

Our Rev translation was spot on. Unfortunately, there is a pretty significant limitation in the languages that are supported by Rev. This and a variety of other factors impacted our overall ranking of this service. We also found the website itself difficult to navigate. This made it difficult to discern the exact services that were offered.

Based on our experience as well as rev translation services reviews, we are not able to include this translation service provider on our top ten list. In spite of this, we encourage our audience to read this review in full. Some may find that this company provides what they need.

Pricing

There is very little flexibility here when it comes to pricing. For individual customers, this can mean that they pay the same price that a business might pay. Several Rev.com translations reviews mentioned they could have received a better deal elsewhere. While Rev’s pricing does not meet the standards of any of our top five or top ten lists with regard to translations rates per word, we believe their pricing falls on the high end of average.

Speed

We were impressed with the speed at which we received our translated document. Although we shouldn’t have been too surprised. Unfortunately, the fast delivery seems to be a result of haste rather than delivering a quality translation quickly.

Accuracy

Unfortunately, we had some issues in this area. We have also made note that the feedback we have received from customers about Rev indicates the same. In our conversation, there was a significant chunk of content missing. There were also some other errors. While the errors were fixed, it did affect the timeliness of the translation progress.

Customer Satisfaction

Overall, consumers seem to rank Rev quite highly in the area of customer satisfaction. Our experience with customer service was also positive. When we pointed out the errors in our translation, company reps were very polite and were willing to work with us to rectify any issues that there were. We rank them number five overall in this category.

Certified Translation Services

There isn’t much commentary about certified translation services offered by Rev from translation consumers. We also did not order a certified translation. However, a look at their website indicates that their certified translation services are limited to immigration documents. This is a bit odd as most translation companies offer certification on a wide variety of documents. Because of this, we are unable to rate them in this category.

Conclusion

After conducting this Rev Translation review, our final rating is fair. We believe that Rev.com is legit. However, they did not rank highly enough overall for us to recommend them as the best French translation agency or a business translation service. While they performed well in customer satisfaction overall, they did not make our top ten list. In fact, they only ranked on one of our lists. This, along with our experience that our translation had some quality issues are two of the major contributors to our mediocre rating.
